Product Manager For Reusable Packaging (m/f/d)

We are “Innovative Robot Delivery” — a start-up founded by the inventors of the DHL Packstation locker system. We want to revolutionize delivery logistics a second time, with mobile parcel lockers and end-to-end last-mile automation: for greater efficiency, lower costs, but above all for less road congestion, packaging waste and a much lower carbon footprint.

That's why we need you: a committed Product manager reusable packaging (m/f/d). With a very high degree of independence, you will manage the development and implementation of this product module and integrate it seamlessly into our overall solution. Your areas of responsibility include

• You are responsible for the specification of the exterior package including dimensions and material selection, from the prototype phase up to serial production. This includes evaluating existing, and developing new standards.
‍
• You will also specify our interior packaging and filling material solution through research, expert discussions and practical testing to select the best solution.
‍
• You will also define our retention technology to keep the reusable packaging in our mobile lockers: This includes planning and specification of the technology to meet the requirements of the delivery process — initially for a prototype, later for the series-ready product.
‍
• In addition, you will development a pooling systems for efficient use and recycling of reusable packaging between the logistics service provider and the senders, which takes into account the requirements of all parties involved.

• Finally you will create an ecological life-cycle-assement of the overall solution.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following core capabilities

• Enthusiasm for innovation and creativity, paired with strategic thinking and the ability to translate a concept for reusable solutions into concrete measures.

• Your experience in the areas of circular economy, packaging and product management, complemented by outstanding organizational skills and negotiation skills, qualifies you for this task. The ability to work effectively with different stakeholders is also essential for this position. You have already successfully developed products from concept to market launch and thus made a significant contribution to business success.

• As a driving force for innovation, you will not only play a significant role in shaping the strategy for reusable packaging, but will also communicate our company's mission both internally and externally. You act as a link between the technical teams and management, ensuring that our developments are in line with the company's goals.‍
